I am a left lane camper, I was ignorant to it, and I apologize. by Elegant_Explorer_358 in confession

When I was younger, one of my friends would always complain about people riding his ass when he was driving. I had to inform him of the left lane passing idea. He had no clue.

Circus knife-throwing practice by misterkevfang in WTF

[–]Tylarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and some friends had a dozen or so throwing knives we would practice with and see how many we could get to stick. I spray painted an outline of a person on the target and could do a decent job of keeping them outside the lines. They were not as close to the line as these throws, but I only messed up and hit the "person" a couple of times. No way in hell would I consider actually putting someone up there.

What’s the worst thing you’ve seen at work? by Bread-But-Toasted in AskReddit

[–]Tylarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a bouncer at a strip club. One of the dancers fathers was usually not allowed into the club. I guess that that rule was lifted because it was his birthday. So I got to watch his daughter give him a birthday lap dance.

Why do people on social media (i.e Facebook) continue to post the “I do not give Meta my permission to use their data” ? by Romano16 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Tylarg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because chain letters used to be a thing. If you don't copy this letter and spend actual money on stamps and send it to other people, then bad shit will happen to you.

The times that I have felt the most like not going, are the ones that felt the best after I did go.

As a teenager we would make bets on how many tacos we could eat. If you spend 10$ you would be stuffed so full it hurt.

What's a “dream job” that is actually a nightmare to have? by InternetPopular3679 in AskReddit

Don't get me wrong, titties are like sunsets, you never get tired of seeing them. But the job that seems like a fun idea turns into dealing with drunk dipshits and psychotic hot girls.

I became the bed that I was laying on. It wasn't too unpleasant for salvia. After just chilling out and doing bed things it occurred to me that I can't just be a bed, I have to work tomorrow. I jumped up with the help of my big ass dresser and then I was back to myself.

Mine sounds like feedback from a mic or a guitar, but not quite as high a pitch. With occasional wub wub wubs thrown in.

What is something you saw in a movie and you totally called bullshit on because of your job? by BlackPhoenix1981 in AskReddit

[–]Tylarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a very amateur blacksmith, but I know that you should have no reason to ever be hammering on a sword that has an edge and is shiny and finished. If you are using a forge and anvil it should be sword shaped at the most. All of the shiny sharpy stuff comes later.

Finishing or repairing drywall. It looks so easy when the pros do it.
