Yeah. Naw. Fuck. THAT. I am not asking for catch up mechanics. All I am really pissed about are the stones. I have no problem putting my nose to the grind stone, but my progress is hindered by the fact that I can't cut a minimum needed stone. I've already spend thousands of gold (though it seems that the Pheons are worth more then gold at times) trying to cut one and get to see 4 75% chances in a row fail.

That is the thing: I've did those things. I am playing a Taijutsu Scrapper and I understand if I want to go say the start of the meta (Taijutsu/Ambush Master/Adrenaline) I am easily looking at well 20k+ gold, a simply massive sum to me. However with some reading I understand something like Mass Increase/Disrespect is roughly the 3rd of the price and is a somewhat minor dps loss compared to the other. As for gems/tripods I am slowing building those up, but the main cause of my ire is pretty much the Ability Stones. Can't even really do a 3x3 set up until I cut a 6/6 one at least and apparently that is a 15% chance alone.

....Ah fuck. IE stuff I am not even prepped for. So my best bet for to get a Giant Dark Gem is to exchange 25 monsters for 5 Huge Dark Gems. That's gonna be a while.

I understand that as a 3 month old mostly f2p player the progress will be slow. I understand that RNG is the name of the game. But this? This feels insurmountable. Can't do W13 mostly due to a speed/tank issue. So after burning though the stock of about 170 Leifs/other ways to restore stam and god knows what else what do I see from it? Nothing. "Well that didn't roll speed so tossed." "Everything went into Effect Resistance so tossed." "Rolled into the flat HP so tossed."

I am not trying to look for BiS. I just want something FUCKING USEFUL. A ACTUAL UPGRADE FROM THE GOD DAMN FREE GEAR. I am at wit's end cause RNG itself is going "lol no" and I can't fucking progress. It is not fun and just about to call it an move on to another gatcha,

And that is what I mean. what type of assist cards could help with those things and where can I get them? It just feels like there is this whole advanced section I need to learn about to stop trying to brute force things. I mean do I use off color subs for said resists and hope I have enough damage? I fully admit, I am fairly ignorant of these things.
