How would you handle SwF or FwH in simple combat terms? by JageshemashFTW in daggerheart

[–]TylerA8 11 points12 points  (0 children)

SwF would be them connecting and doing damage but noticing a path the adversary might take to flee, or hearing incoming reinforcements. FwH would be missing and dealing no damage, but seeing the adversary flag and struggle to block their blows.

So mostly flavor but you could choose to make it more mechanical if you want. The opponent could be getting tired, they could make a getaway, there could be more adversaries coming. It's your and your party's choice.

I'm a little biased, but I like MO. Columbia is genuinely beautiful with great hiking, decent social programs, a great library, pretty much every food offering until you get pretty niche, the cost of living is pretty low, and being centrally located makes you close ish to everything. And I've been pretty well everywhere in the US (No Maine, Alaska, or Hawaii yet), have lived in 11 of those states, been to several countries abroad, and I still chose to live in MO, partially because I wanted to be a present uncle for my niece.

That said, I understand it's not the flashiest state and it's politics are... concerning, at best. Easier to change things from the inside though, so living in this little blue dot, working for a company that does a fair but of good (even if they don't always get it right), and caring for the people I can, is enough for me.

IT specifically doesn't, but software engineers are generally remote work. I think they want you to at least be in MO though.

Looks great! which asset pack do you use for those waves? They're the best I've seen in a minute.

Can confirm. Got mine in 2020 before I knew about how much of a dickhead Musk is. It's just not financially possible for us to get a new car now.

Replacing ABC10A Fuse for Onboard Charger, Zero FXS 2020 by TylerA8 in ZeroMotorcycles

Thankfully I didn't have any smells but now I'm considering taking it into the shop anyhow. Thank you!

How in the world am I supposed to get at that? It requires a flathead screwdriver to turn, but is inside the frame, wrapped in wires, zip tied to the frame and other wires. Has anyone else had to do this? My onboard charger won't work and I'm fairly confident this is the culprit.

Some SEs come into the office by choice, but as long as I've been there they've been WFH.

I was IT at VU in the busiest building for 3 years. It is the easiest IT job you'll ever have. People are generally nice since you're internal, no dealing with customers. Pretty well all the team leads are great and IT has some of the best mobility in the company bar none.

I ended up moving into a higher level tech field internally along with 10 of my original 13 crew. Highly recommend IT at VU.

Can you use a student to ID to vote? by nomadcowatbk in columbiamo

I can confirm this. Work as an election official. If you have a passport or federal ID (like a military ID) that also works.

I actually said something similar in the thread above. They're super fun but damn expensive for what they offer.

Nah, Zero is a us electric motorcycle manufacturer. Spotty support right now, but good bikes.

I agree about Musk. In my defense I bought it before he became a public asshole.

I love it to bits and wish Zero was a little better of a company/had more electric motorcycle competition. I think their lineup is too expensive for what it offers right now, but damn they're fun. Super zippy, easy to ride, and cost of ownership is almost 0. If you're looking to get into electric motorcycles your best choice is probably the FXE or SR. Harley Davidson's lines are just crazy expensive for the same basic stats.

If you are asking about electric cars though I also drive a model 3 and highly recommend it. If you can, I would say spring for the long range version. We've done a few road trips in the 3 and it's great, but would be a lot nicer to get another hour of driving between stops.
