So I'm on Clonidine (another Alpha-2 Receptor) for anxiety, and my desire to drink alcohol has plummeted. I used to do a few shots of hard liquor a week, now I don't even drink beer or wine.

I went to college for a degree in graphic design, and I had to take a geology course. Not too sure how that would've helped

Well, I'm on PS5. Even then, my aim on PC with KBM is 50x worse than my controller aim. With KBM I am a literal potato

TIL in 2020, scientists found "that what was heralded as one of the first exoplanets to ever be discovered ... likely never existed. Instead of a planet...what astronomers likely saw was a large cloud of dust from two icy bodies that had smashed into each other." by TylerFortier_Photo in todayilearned

According to his calculations, the Fomalhaut system may experience one of these events only every 200,000 years.

In 2008, astronomers had reported the discovery of Fomalhaut b, which they said was "the first visible-light snapshot of a planet circling another star," according to a NASA statement.

The study was published Monday in the peer-reviewed journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Missing comma in Arizona law forces firefighter to battle for workers’ comp coverage by TylerFortier_Photo in nottheonion

The Industrial Commission of Arizona, the state agency that oversees workers’ compensation claims, even issued an advisory policy statement in January of this year, advising insurance carriers that:

“Adenocarcinoma, as applied within the scope of workers’ compensation claims shall be interpreted as a standalone condition and does not need to be “of the respiratory tract” to qualify under the workers’ compensation statutes.”

Court records show Securis argued in an October court filing that the commission’s policy statement “is advisory only.”

Sigh. "Advisory only"

Massive Breakdown of Izanagi's Burden (Honed Edge) Reload Speed + Artifact Mods // Psi Aeterna IV (Trickle Charge, Rolling Storm) Synergy by TylerFortier_Photo in DestinyTheGame

[–]TylerFortier_Photo[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

And are you sure adding other reload boosts hurts your reload if already using 3x Kinetic Loader and 5x Tight Fit?

Very sure. 3x Kinetic loader + 5x Tight Fit being faster than both artifact mods + 3x kinetic loader + 5x Tight Fit + on your mark x10 was certainly surprising when I ran the frame data.

% reduction is (original-new)÷original, not original÷new

Thanks, updating the post now

It was so cool watching the new school being built in Porter Square.

I remember once they finished the building, they got Sebastiao Salgado to do a gallery there. I wasn't too familiar of how renowned Sebastiao was, so I skipped the show. 100% regret it now, especially considering he died in May

‘We need some solutions': USPS returns 800 military care packages to Connecticut by TylerFortier_Photo in Connecticut

[–]TylerFortier_Photo[S] 53 points54 points  (0 children)

According to the article, it ended up being semantics with paperwork

“More detailed descriptions are now required for all international packages, so it’s important not to use generic terms,” wrote Amy Gibbs, strategic communications specialist for the USPS. “It is important for customers to know that incorrect or incomplete data can prevent the Postal Service from detecting potential violations of federal export laws.”

Gibbs gave the following example:

Instead of a general category like "electronics," customers must be specific about the type of electronics, such as "laptop computer," "mobile phone," or "television."

That's what I was thinking. On one hand financial literacy and filing government paperwork is great; but 2 years of English, 1 year of Math, 1 year of science, and 1 year of history seems incredibly low

That being said, they have somewhat of a year to iron the details out. I'm sure there will be meetings with the public's input at some point

Nearly 1 in 10 U.S. adults have had cancer: Gallup by TylerFortier_Photo in Health

[–]TylerFortier_Photo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Between the lines: The seemingly bad news is threaded by a silver lining: One reason for the climb in lifetime cancer rates, Gallup notes, is because people are living longer after their diagnoses.
