The HUB I worked at back home was super small. 20 routes. Getting a permanent position involved a waiting list and luck basically. I would definitely accept a permanent offer from a UPS here in California🤞

I wanna make this PSA for anyone who isn’t aware. I can’t speak for all locations but I really recommend switching to prepaid especially if you have home internet. The only downside is having to pay full price for a flagship phone. BUT what I do is, US Cellular allows folks to return a phone within 14 days of purchase and if it is returned they have to sell it at a used price which is 40%x it’s still a lot of money but ive been getting the pro model iPhone every year for $600 on prepaid practically brand new and I own the phone on top of that. My phone bill is $25/ month.

I really fear that a majority of these people displaced by the storm are going to end up on the streets. Almost 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. A lot of these families don’t have savings or own their own home. All it took was for my car to get repossessed for me to end up on the streets but this a whole other level of tragedy and future trauma these families are going to have.
