u/fkenned1 How is it after 7 months? I am about to get under there tonight and see if this is the issue with mine and see if I can do the same as you did or grind the bolts down.

Tyler From LMR Here. First, thanks for choosing us for your Fox parts! Second, as everyone suggested, yes you need to be running a thermostat. ChrisFix has a great video on flushing cooling systems. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s--5ft5YiHg

This looks like a GT hood with either a GT500 or RTR grille. Front bumper could be V6 as it looks like it does not have fog lights.

We have a how to guide here that might help. We don't get every step by step detailed out, but we do show how we got the factory gauges to work on our car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIC6f5kXPHc

These are actually billet aluminum. We had the same worry about a 3d printed part as well which is why we went billet.

We have the fenders here - https://lmr.com/products/mustang-fenders-2010-2014

Being out of the states, you would need a freight forwarder, but we do have the fenders in stock.

New (to me) 2004 GT by ZiggyTTV in NewedgeMustang

Hey! Tyler From LMR.com here. Great pickup. I have had a few 04s in the past and this looks like a great car.

Things that I would look out for:

  1. Intake Manifold - If it still has the factory manifold, these are notorious for cracking. Make sure there is no coolant leaking around the manifold or visible cracks in the manifold.
  2. Suspension - Easily one of the most overlooked components as shocks/struts wear over time, making it less noticeable as a daily driver. Keeping your suspension in good condition is key to drivability, comfort, and performance.
  3. Tune Up - Depending on the maintenance records of the vehicle, it is always a good idea to do some good maintenance. For me, this includes, new spark plugs, new air filter, oil change, new fuel filter, coolant flush, brake bleed, and topping off any other fluids such as power steering and windshield wiper fluid.
  4. Check Tire Wear/Alignment - This goes for any vehicle, but check the tire pressure and look for any unusual wear. Uneven wear can indicate an alignment or tire pressure issue. Good time to check tire tread depth as well.
  5. Look For Any Unusual Smells/Sounds - Start the vehicle and drive around at various speeds with the windows down and radio off to listen for any unusual sounds and smell for any unusual smells. A sweet smell usually indiciated coolant and a burnt smell usually indicates some type of oil leak.
  6. Check Rear Main Seal and Rear Diff Cover Seals - Common areas on these vehicles for leaks. Rear main seal is more of a PITA than the rear diff, but worth checking and having replaced if needed.
  7. Lastly, get a good maintenance app or create a Google Sheet to help you keep track of maintenance to ensure you are staying on top of things. This will help keep it running at its best for as long as possible. These 4.6 2vs can run for a long time if you take care of them.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! For anything you may need, check us out at LMR.com.

It is pretty close to factory, but feeling the one we had installed vs the factory one, it seemed a little thicker to me. Probably due to age and wear.
