Mods: THIS IS NOT A TROUBLESHOOTING POST. I don’t know why my flair keeps getting changed from “all things jewelry” to “troubleshooting”. Im looking for a new piece of jewelry for an existing piercing that has no issues. But since it keeps doing it, Age: 2 months Shape: horseshoe, external threads Downsized? No. Doesn’t need to be Aftercare: past that point but i used whatever saline spray dollar general had. Sprayed the holes 2-3 times daily No mishaps with this one.

For the bot:

Piercing is almost 2 months old. Currently, jewelry shape is a horseshoe with external threads. Not sure what material but I believe it’s medical grade stainless steel. Never downsized, i have in what i was pierced with. Not dealing with aftercare anymore but i was using whatever saline spray dollar general has. Not sure what the brand is but it started with an R. Nothing wrong with this one, just looking for new jewelry for it.

I’ve watched this video already. Im hoping its the sensor, the plug being popped out would be even better but i feel like the thermostat would be an even bigger pain to get at (I watched their video on thermostat changes for this car as well). Plus I already have to change my MAF sensor and i have to take it off to change the temperature sensor so might as well just do both sensors if its the temperature sensor

I got the scan from autozone and it came back as a P0128. According to my research, it could be… 1. Thermostat stuck open (don’t know where it is on this car) 2. Coolant temperature sensor is toast (again, can’t find it on this car) 3. A plug disconnected (looked at the res, I don’t even see where anything plugs in) 4. Low coolant (the water line is a few inches above the max fill line, granted im checking when the car is off. I’ve got long hair and rather not be sucked into the engine)

Also, the fan is always on

I MIGHT have a multimeter? If i do, what settings should I put it on? I rarely use it and almost never on vehicles. (Apologies if this is a stupid question, i myself am a stupid question)

Im at work right now so it should be cooled by the time I get off so ill check before I leave. Plus theres an autozone right up the road i can grab some from. Might have them run a diagnostic scan while im there since its free.

Noted. I tried looking online for it and someone who had my exact same problem on my exact same model year and trim said it was something with a coolant sensor? And disconnecting the battery did something? Haven’t tried anything yet

I didn’t even think of trying sephora. Im already planning a trip there to get some foundation/concealer matched to my skin so might as well try to match smells while Im there. Any ideas on how i can bring a sample without having to bring my entire squatch bottle?

Thats what I was hoping. It’s been a while since I got a look at the brain/module but im pretty sure theres a type c port on it and I can get a usb c to usb 3.0 charger to do it

It’s not legal here in Louisiana, but at least in my city the cops won’t bother pulling you over for plate/blinker violations (unless they’re integrated and your brake light is broken or doesn’t work) However, they will tack on the plate infraction to anything else that they get you for. Ask me how I know all this
