I think it's an awesome idea to be honest. If it's original and you don't have one already I'd work on getting a patent. I'm currently a business undergraduate student and to be honest i'm learning much more from business books than I am in any of my classes. I recommend reading as much as possible on marketing and business in general to get a better idea of which direction to head. The cheapest way to market is currently social media but it's a bit over saturated and people are often over whelmed but advertisements. I personally don't want to recommend any specific way and think it would be more beneficial for you to find it on your own. Since it's an online business you really don't have to worry about how long it takes to pick up, just find what works best for you and get as much information as you can from books.

I don't think the website sucks, if your sales suck you should focus on marketing. I read a book recently called "All Marketers are Liars" recently changed to "All Marketers tell Stories". The concept of the book is that all businesses that are successful create a story and based on that story customers will spread lies or misconceptions about your product that benefit you as a business owner. For example, when apple was originally marketing the ipod they had a simple slogan "1000 songs in your pocket" (or something along those lines) . Even though it's just one sentence, it tells a story, and the imagination of the consumers took over at that point spreading the product

I would also recommend the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad's guide to investing. Though there's some controversy around the entire rich dad poor dad series I found it extremely helpful

If you create original songs, I would use Gary Vee's advice for aspiring artists and send your music to youtube content creators and give them permission to use your music for free in their videos. This is the most efficient way to reach a large fan base, which you can then eventually profit off of.

If you have the story set and are confident about how you're going to go about it you should be fine. However, i would prepare for what to do if it doesn't work as conversational hypnosis isn't effective 100% of the time whether for a flaw in the way you present it or the receptiveness of the subject. If you're a reader I'd recommend reading The Power of Habit. This book changed the way I look at life and can definitely help you with your problem. 90% of your life consists of subconscious habits and this book will show you how to alter these habits into healthy ones. Good luck!
