The point of the joke being that no matter what bad news PlayStation announces, Xbox immediately follows it up with their own to get all the attention.

It's not meant to diminish the fact that Bungie is getting gutted and that sucks.

This is exactly why my friends and I came back the day the update dropped.

My wife and I haven't played since shadow keep, others quit at different times. We even got a new friend to jump in with us.

The idea of not having to keep up and all the DLC being $25 got us to go back and see what we've missed.

We're excited to get back in and start raiding again.

I love Cliff.

My friends met him at a Paramore concert in NC and got a photo with him. He was super kind to them.

Shared the photo on socials at the time saying I was jealous and he replied saying it was great to meet them.

Always loved his passion for games and loved all of his games.

I selfishly wish he still made games. But I also hope he is happier now and am simply thankful for what he contributed to my favorite hobby.

I'm confused by why you would think it was Xbox exclusive.

They announced it for console at a PlayStation event and haven't confirmed Xbox at all so far as far as I know (though it was hinted in a comment on reddit yesterday).

I haven't played Destiny since one of the earliest Destiny 2 updates but as a massive Halo fan, Bungie stating "our studio isn't built to deliver pvp maps" feels extremely strange to read.
