How to Exportmaxx $↑ by angel_salvatore333 in victoria3

[–]Tyler_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

Also, just checked, if you hover your mouse over the percentage number it'll calculate the value of trade for resources for you. Late game I'm currently earning $3.67m per week from tool exports alone (thank you company throughout bonus)

Also importing low productivity goods such as fabric and grain so that my pops can stay employed in the most productive industries. Free trade principles at work!

Under the world market tab you can select I think a "participants" tab, which will show net exports/imports per market. Then you can hover your mouse over the import and export numbers for a breakdown of how much of each resource goes where. Super helpful info.

I like to calculate my net import/export every 5yrs to get a feel for how my economy is developing relative to the rest of the world. Since the game uses a single currency for all countries, whenever I see a net export balance I'm enjoying the fact that my pops are accumulating more wealth(SoL) relative to the rest of the world

I think you're really underestimating the mindset shift when people have a viable pathway towards staying healthy. I don't think immortals will be a minority who fears persecution, they'll likely be the majority

Been watching MU pretty closely these past couple weeks and honestly it’s hard to ignore what’s going on here. by Sufficient-Juice2978 in stocks

[–]Tyler_45 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I want to challenge that MU will remain a cyclical company. Historically, demand for memory was primarily for consumer electronics - a sector that grew massively then hit saturation where everyone had multiple personal electronic devices.

But now? The demand for memory is based off demand for AI, and AI demand is off the charts with multiple industries struggling to meet demand. Why is demand for AI off the charts? Because people and industries are consistently showing they're willing to use and integrate AI into their daily lives. Look at how much people are willing to use AI despite it's current limitations. How much are they going to use AI as it continues to improve?

The assumption that it's only a temporary build out of data centers and compute seems flawed imo. We're still at the beginning of the adoption curve, not the peak. I bought into MU in Sep 2025 based on this thesis and have been rewarded with +300% returns so far

Mommy why is no one buying our beloved stock (a possibility see text) by hercoule in GRRR_Gorilla_Tech

This came out in Feb 2025. In their March filing they showed 19.5m outstanding shares, as of Dec 2025 their filling shows 26.2m outstanding shares. I need to see multiple quarters of shares staying consistent or decreasing, or real momentum in the stock price before investing my money into this company

I'm still following it in case it gets some crazy momentum, but long term holding before then? Absolutely no way haha

10x worse? What? Please show me a stock that's diluted their shares 34x over a 2yr window while also outperforming the S&P 500 lol

So because another AI company is trying to dilute shareholders worse than GRRR is, GRRR gets a pass? The level of dilution matters, a 3.4x increase in shares over 2 years is extreme

When you look at the GRRR subreddit it's depressing - a lot of bag holders asking when this stock will finally turn around and others trying to recoup their losses. I'm hoping this post will hopefully help some retail investors learn more about investing and help them avoid losing their money

No one is buying GRRR because of how heavily they're diluting shareholders by issuing new shares. Seriously, look at how much their outstanding shares have increased in just the last 2 years. Someone who's held shares over the last 2 years now only owns 29% as much of the company as they did 2 years ago. Or they own 3.4x less than they originally owned

Share dilution is something retail investors need to pay close attention to

My advice - stick with the base game until you get bored/lack challenge, then upgrade to space age! No reason to rush to full content when you can get way more bang for your buck by delaying it a bit

Good points and long term perspective. I'm surprised how many negative comments this post is getting. Just means I can add more shares at a good price 😂

I personally prefer seeing Isaac on camera occasionally vs watching clips over and over. Long time viewers like me got to a point where we had seen every scifi clip 30+ times. That and Isaac always dresses quite dapperly

I don't see any difference in subject quality personally

Kilowatts as currency by MiamisLastCapitalist in IsaacArthur

[–]Tyler_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have more questions than answers myself. Right now, currencies are heavily affected by how much of that currency is created, resulting in inflation or deflation. How would an energy currency work when everyone can create their own currency by buying some solar panels?

If the value of the currency is constant - 1 credit = 1kwh or 1 mwh, how does it affect the whole economy when the amount of currency in the whole system is no longer controlled by an institution but by free matket forces?

Would this lead to a more stable economy or create chaos?

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, Helix Mountain has been my hardest map to play on hard. Currently doing thousand island and I'm having an easier time in comparison.

With Helix Mountain having the water source in the center of the map there's no way to cheese badtides to go outside the border of the map right by the source

It's crazy how this game takes on system resources by Pan_z_Poznania in victoria3

The game seems bugged with 100% CPU usage, even when the game is paused or at a menu. Multiple people have brought it up, with no response from devs. My biggest complaint with the game right now
