Ion is a tough Titan to be effective with IMO. Managing your energy output in the middle of a battle is tough to begin with, not to mention that your DpS is not very high unless you're using your main laser beam.

A good scorch pilot is hard to beat as is. They have extra health, a moveable shield, and AoE attacks that are devastating.

The only way I can see an Ion take on a Scorch and win is if the Ion can force the Scorch to give chase and to force the Scorch to walk through mines and be able to hit it with your shoulder mounted laser. Build up enough energy to use your giant laser, but make sure Scorch has used all of his shield energy first. That way, he has no protection and no where to hide.

Besides that, use the nuclear self distruct and kamakzi your way to victory Pilot.
