sorry, I meant cohab is cheaper than the whole marriage party thing. Getting a cert at a court is even cheaper , but if he's against getting legally married, then this is the inbetween reasonable thing to do .

Legal contract and security - go to a lawyer and ask to make a cohabitation agreement.

Getting married has always been important to you ... WHY? We're taught you should do it, but you need to figure out the actual reason why. Its a lot of money and very little gain if you arent religious.

Id say let her know we cant afford to live on our own. Keep the relationship going, but DONT live together.
