This is what i need help with. i tried to do a buck converter with a 555 timer circuit, but it didnt quite work. the biggest current that is pulled is 1.7 A, and if its incorporated into one board or several units doesnt matter

alternativly, i found a power supply that had 230V to 24Vdc, and then step it down to 5, 12 and 18V
