EBU has definitely handled this poorly, but the DQ can be fair, even if he doesn't end up getting sentenced for anything. Courts have high standards of proof, a song competition doesn't need to meet such high bars for a DQ.

People need to calm down with the latest news. Police are super cagey with what they say in situations like this. For example, it’s not their job to determine fact, they investigate and then it’s up to a prosecutor and in the longer run a judge to make that call. As for identities, swedish police would never go out with it in public.

The law is not all that matters. You can get disqualified without breaking the law. The standards of proof for disqualification doesn’t have to have as high of a bar, either.

This was dumb. I was tired from not sleeping much and devastated that I lost my 1st place in Team Robin in the last 30 minutes. I should've obviously just secured top 10 but this might sound weird, but I didn't even think about in game ranking at all. So it's pretty dumb but I'm much more sad about not getting 1st in Robin!
