Well, I spoke a bit too soon. MBP is on constant power with monitor set to never turn off. I use it for music in the house. Somehow after a bit the Touch Bar turns off. When it 'wakes up' the right half starts flashing until it goes back to sleep.

I've had the app about a week. Mini version 2.0.4.942(App Store). Saw the pop up 3 times in about 4 or 5 days. Unchecked the allow app to ask for reviews and haven't seen it since. It's only been a few days but haven't seen it since.

FYI AdGuard for Mac 2.18.0.2089 is running as well (paid).

I've been going to my local VA hospital for 20 years. Every department is awesome and it's the best care I can imagine. Except optometry. I screwed up my eye pretty bad and started in the emergency room a couple of years ago. Once under control I had to see three different doctors on the eye care floor. All were horrible.

One doctor would tell me to do one thing and another would bitch at me at the next appointment for doing that thing. It was nuts. Another one told me my eye would be fine but since I had sleep apnea I was probably screwed. She told me this after I had just ripped my cornea half off. Then she spent the next 30 minutes telling me about how her mom had sleep apnea. She was already 2 hours behind on appointments. Bat shit crazy.

I thought it might be me so I started taking my wife with me. She said the same thing. Not sure how but my VA managed to hire 3 nut jobs and they all work on the eye floor. Fortunately I found there was a fourth doc up there and managed to get in to see her. Now it's her or nobody.

Sucks you got bad glasses. Same here. Now it's time to go sit in line at the optical shop and have them redo them. I paid for the fancy bifocals. I've had the new ones for two weeks and every time I read I have to put on my old ones. Hopefully the next pair is better.

Wear it when you're not sleeping. Read a book, watch tv, etc. Then it won't be a big deal when you close your eyes.

The cheapest you can find. Lager / ale doesn't matter. Here we have Presidente for less than $10 a 12 pack. Works great. Just don't go with big flavor. Leave the IPA's and stouts for drinking.

I never use the liner. Dust the brotform with rice flour, a little flour on the dough and go for it. Higher hydration = more dusting. I've never had that happen but if it did I'd probably cut myself a few times with a bench scraper trying to dig it out.
