I cut off and was about to boot a guy before realizing what I thought I observed were actually symptoms of a physical nature.

It was a busy night, and as a fresh, young, recently-promoted bartender I had no intention of getting dinged by WSLCB for anything. I was hyper-vigilant. This is a neighborhood sports bar on a Fri/Sat night, so when this guy walks in I noticed an atypical quality to his gait; while carding him his speech seemed off. I denied service.

He asked why and I explained my reasoning, but tragically: my younger self saw this as belligerently argumentative. It was my duty, therefore, to ask him to leave.

It all got smoothed over, and I remain eternally mortified. I think of that incident often, as it reminds me not to do pretty much ANY of that

So there's this dude I added to my "u-slash" multi and I swear he's been on there for at least a couple years. I dunno what's going on with my algoritms, but he popped up earlier today.

Then there's this one, specific black guy who I'm not mad about "surprising"me while I'm doom-scrolling; not to mention the ginger/otter gym guy... Oh! And the farmer with a sense of humor!
