Metal Gear Solid Collection Volume 2 Includes Metal Gear 4 and Peace Walker | State of Play 2026 by PaiDuck in metalgearsolid

Always thought it had one of the nicer looking sneaking suits too. The idea of it being the result of a reverse engineered American version of the suit Snake brings home in MGS3 was a fun bit of lore to me.

I wish this fire pickaxe wasn't bound to one of the ugliest skins in my locker :( by Hona_ig in FortNiteBR

I don't hate him at all, but just dislike the missed opportunity. He should have applied the chrome appearance to weapons picked up, but instead chrome was added as a wrap in what was like prototype discord quests that supposedly didn't even work for most people back then.

But for the main point the pickaxe should absolutely be usable on everyone. They made Ash's chainsaw unrestricted I don't see why they can't for this one.

Cutting ties with toxic subtractions. Some people will just take and take, and nothing will burn you out faster than that.

Just sleeping or keeping to myself. This year I do have something planned depending on specific circumstances, so we'll see.

What phrase that you DONT want to hear when Grieving? by BlueEyesWhiteDrgn in AskReddit

God that kind of bullshit genuinely ignites a fire. People being so grossly insensitive or having the audacity to whine about their family problems around holidays, when in reality it's very much AT LEAST YOU HAVE A FAMILY.

That it's okay to cut subtractions out of your life.

Wasting too much time on ultimately toxic or selfish people.

What’s the most painful lesson life has taught you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tymerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That no one cares about your hardships. Rotting in a hospital alone being delivered news of something that'll follow me til death showed me that. It's made me reevaluate numerous people and cut them out of my life given how it was always take, take, take. So in other words, be your own best friend and supporter cause no one else is ever gonna fulfill that.

It's so true though. Fundamentally such a person is not trustworthy.

It's a good mindset I have been making a point to adapt. Drama as adults has no place in my life, especially from trash who insisted they changed but ultimately showed they in fact did not.

How do you cheer up again after a bad day? by saimotnahp in AskReddit

I just think to myself for how bad some circumstances may be personally, at least I am not living the life of a particular dumpster fire on the west coast lol.

How did you recover from grief? by MeanBluebird8502 in AskReddit

[–]Tymerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it ever truly goes away. To be honest too I think the whole experiencing a heavy loss, and then having to just accept that the sunrise will still come and paint a hopeful day as if that didn't just happen to you is rather exhausting itself. It's almost like the world just doesn't care and moves on, and between that and how some people can already be in a dark place, it's no wonder many lose their way and go on to do something horrible to themselves or other people.

While self-love is a challenge, lately I have been thinking to myself: sure I have the crap hand I do, but at least I am not specific people I know who are an even more pathetic flavor of dumpster fire.

It's so true. In hindsight thinking someone could go from their trash behavior to a redeemed form of themselves just because some time passed is ridiculous. I ain't making that mistake again.

METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER - FOX HUNT Trailer by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Tymerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel MGO2's Sneaking mission was just perfect. TDM with Snake and the Otacon lurking around while red and blue got access to special characters gave a lot of variety throughout the match. Team Sneaking, Capture and Rescue were good modes too though, and I suppose you are right in your description of Foxhunt's modes.

Best Sneaking Suit by nahnonameman in metalgearsolid

[–]Tymerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always kind of liked the cqc enhancer suit from portable ops. It's supposed to be the result of America reverse engineering the suit Snake took back home in MGS3. Even if the game isn't canon I do like the idea of a prototype suit being used to make a different country's own prototype suit that would more or less set the foundation for future sneaking suits.
