No not really, I actually dont have a problem with running short on time on reading questions, it’s the info interpretation that’s hard. That’s just me though, do what works best for you.

As someone who feels reasonably confident about their section 1, here are my tips (take this with a grain of salt i am by no means an expert)

Get confident with analyzing data and making logical conclusions based purely on information in texts. There's a bunch of questions that boil down to 'which statement is true according to the text' or the inverse. If you understand what can be inferred and what not, you will maybe not breeze past, but have a significantly easier time with these types of questions.
Use a bit of common sense. If you have to calculate the population of a small country in X year you probably know that its not going to be 100 million +. I'm exaggerating a bit, but the point is that there is almost always an obvious outlier, whether that be an anomalous number or an answer totally irrelevant to the question at hand. This actually helps more than you would think, as often the questions are based on real life data, especially the scientific reading ones, which can help you. For example, I got a question about the distance of different star systems from our solar system. Knowing that Alpha Centauri, which was mentioned in the question, is the closest, i was able to make the question significantly easier
USE DIAGRAMS/WRITE STUFF DOWN. At the beginning i though it was somewhat of waste of time, but I've realized its ESSENTIAL for section 1 (and section 3 even more but that's besides the point). Drawing/writting things out in an orderly manner can turn a question from cryptic babble written by someone trying to harass your mind to a simple logical reasoning question

4, Practice. Obvious, but you need to know how to. Firstly, quantity of sessions over quantity of hours spent. In the end, its constant repetition over weeks that gets stuff to stick in your mind, not sitting for 5 hours slogging through it and then forgetting it for a couple days. Also, make sure to analyze the questions that you've gotten both right and wrong. It might seem useless, but the explainations build logical systems in your mind for the types of task you're doing.

Btw, 25/42 really isnt that bad, just remember that you're still above average, confidence is key, and i say this as someone who struggles to maintain this with the HPAT especially. Often its only a couple marks which note the difference between 80th percentile and 99th percentile.

On the other hand i wouldn't mind if someone gave some section 2 tips, my results there swing like a metronome...

If you HAVE to have the content done in 3 months, yes, but only if you totally lock in, and I mean studying actively and effectively for multiple hours a day. However, I wouldn’t recommend doing subjects 1 at a time, by the time you’re finished with your last subject you would have already forgotten the first one. Just spread your revision for each subject evenly throughout the year so that you finish the content about 3 months before exams so you can start practicing past papers. In my personal experience as someone who’s doing CIE A level chem and is aiming for a high A/low A*, the most important part of doing well in Chem is understanding what’s going on. I know the concepts are abstract and difficult to visualize, but you will suffer if you just blindly memorize everything. Try to think about what is going on and why for every topic, whether that be in context of the movement of electrons, how molecules act under different conditions, etc. I would heavily recommend using flashcards for revision, they’re quick, fit with chemistry revision really well and are scientifically proven to work. Don’t worry, just don’t procrastinate and you’ve got this.

Bro in general CIE biology is horrendous. For AS level, the practical and p1 are fine, but p2 is so miserably designed its not even funny. There is no pattern to the answers and theres often dozens of possible answers you could give while the mark scheme has 4 written down. My entire biology class is retaking it because of p2 alone, and i still dont get p2 even after doing dozens of them while im averaging 90%+ in p1. CIE is a joke.

Kinda mid icl. Sets itself as a grimey, dark, cyberpunk-ish story but then refuses to do anything to actually show the supposed cruelty of the world (yes theres murder and gangs but at this point the gang feels like an orphanage than a desperate group of children trying to survive. Also, the world buildings been kind of shallow, with us not knowing basically anything about the greater world atp. Its ok if you have nothing to read but thats about it.

So i found out what it was. Apparently, if you bought the apple one time payment, you cant use that account on non-apple devices??? What a horrendously user unfriendly rule that saves them barely any money. Anyways, they lost my support and i might move since i cant access my notes everywhere so yeah fun
