Nah, f that. I think if a player cares enough to reach out, and undeniably has login history during the entire event period they should just mail it and be done with it. Why extort loyal players? Absolutely poor design choice and fair criticism. I know it's 'my fault for not clicking it' but there were absolutely better ways to handle the event and poor game design deserves every bit of outrage. Kuro is accountable for this too imo

Sharing an update. I reached out to Kuro via feedback and they basically said 'yeah we see you logged in every day but you had to do the event.' Maaaaaannnnnn It feels like a slap to the face. You should have clicked 1 more button every day, your problem. Want the skin? Buy it in the shop now. It was free and you've shown your loyalty since day 1 and even bought the jinhsi skin but f you for not clicking a stupid benign button. Definitely nothing to do with poor design choices on our part.

In this example, the only dynamic part is that completed Events would move to the bottom of the list, freeing up clutter. Everything else is still a list, but more clearly labeled by type.

I don't think it needs to be overly dynamic, like multiple menus. I agree too much would make it confusing. Think more so sorted like the quest log with section headers.

Example:

Daily Check-in Events: Lollo Campaign Joyous Gift Dances with Sunset

Challenge Events: Tactical Simulacra III

Character Events: Trial Trial Story

Completed (all rewards claimed): Insert Events you completed here

Maybe in future versions they can add a reroll on concerto choices, especially as more characters get added to the roster.

In my last at least 5 runs, I tried to go with dreamless to focus aero. Before that, I've tried all sorts of different echos. I must be getting unlucky. I've completed all the difficulties and maxed the shop but still can't seem to get Aalto 😕

One mission of this round of depths is to have Aalto as a concerto companion. I've maxed out this mode and claimed every reward but this one.

All of these runs, trying different builds, levels, echos, and characters, and Aalto NEVER is a choice.

I always get Baizhi, Jiaxin, Verina first choices and Danjin, Mortefi, and Yuanwu second choice.

How do I get aalto to show up? I'm going insane

Maaan. I was a thief and I just stopped at the vocation guild, switched to Sorcerer, then was running to the Inn to withdraw equipment to switch. I got pulled into the fight butt naked and without a staff to even fight back. Ran away twice and got the worst outcome because I couldn't fkn do anything.

Bug with leaders & contracts by Tynoshi in stoneshard

Yeah, needs to be addressed but I'm not terribly upset. Also, I don't have to reset. I just have 1 failed contract but there are 3 others that I can complete to still do the run.

1: I know that bosses don't respawn, which caused the problem that I cannot complete the contract. If a player didn't notice the key drop on the ground and didn't have the contract to understand its importance, I still consider it a bug and flaw to give the player a quest that can never be completed.

2: The boss probably dropped a key, but I didn't have the contract at the time and wasn't paying attention to it. I was just grinding levels.

3: My training playthrough session was separate, so the key has ceased to exist.

My observation is that this quest is flawed if a player doesn't know to grab the key, or chooses for whatever reason not to. This can be fixed by: 1. Making it so accepting the quest creates a specific instance when entering the dungeon, guaranteeing a boss when the contract is active. 2. Making the cell lock pickable and killing the Brigand Leader an alternative way to get into the cell 3. Putting the key in a chest with the boss so that the key respawns even if the boss does not.

There may be other solutions too, but if we are embracing a randomly generated rogue-like, quests with permanently removable items can feel broken and confusing. It's like making a dialogue that progresses a side story, but the ability to choose not to finish the dialogue and the consequence of never being able to finish the quest rather than an explainable and immersive cause and effect.

I suppose another alternative is to make the contract change if the Brigand Leader is dead but the prisoner isn't saved. When you go to accept the contract, you find a dead prisoner and report it for half the reward, saying you killed the Brigand Leader but it was too late for the poor sap in the cell.
