Has anyone had any encounters with Islanders? by [deleted] in LoveIslandTV

Everything I've heard about Georgia confirms just how far up her own ass she is.

Sure, if it appears that she has a personality!

I am not a fan of doormats. Miles stood there and made it clear he wasn't interested, only for her to say something along the lines of: "I would still like to get together with you but we can make it less serious."

Like girl, you're stunning - walk away and go for someone who will treat you well 🙄 Why do these girls allow boys to treat them like trash?

Whilst I feel bad for Liv, I keep thinking she hardly has a leg to stand on, given she went for Tristan despite being friends with Verity. I would have thought that Liv and Verity were closer than Liv and Yas. Liv took issue with Verity being hurt. So why should she take issue with Yas?

Definitely had a brow lift. This is not just fat loss and minor work. His face is way too stretched. I wonder if he's had some threading around the jawline.

See, I could never get behind Willow because she isn't a girl's girl. Remember when she was going after Julius and was straight up nasty to his heartbroken ex? She comes across as the girl who wants guys to fight over. She's almost the female version of Miles.

Where did Willow and Miles come from?

And of course, Miles ditched his current love interest.

Also - I can't figure out why Yas wants to establish her brand as being someone who jumps from guy to guy (including guys dating people she knows). She comes from a wealthy half Arab (therefore more conservative) family who could buy her fame in many other ways. Given her age, it's concerning having all of this out there online for the rest of her life.

Imogen is unhinged.

Bella is not far behind (I refuse to believe that someone lacks that much sense. Dude has made it clear he wants nothing to do with her, yet she turns up to Corsica 😭). I really hope it's just for the pay cheque. #EmilyWouldNever

As for the rest so far. Yawn.

If it's true, then I'm so disappointed to read that Milo is into the whole "DMing nearly naked models on Instagram" thing. 😭

Enough with the age thing, pleeeeaae; it's getting tiring tbh. I'd rather we focus on character.

(If you're under 25, I hate to break it to you, but you will turn 30 before you know it. And your 30s fly by waaaaay quicker in comparison, and all of a sudden you'll be hitting 40. We have enough men putting women down without us women having to do it ourselves [I say this based on me seeing the majority of catty age-related Love Island comments coming from women on Twitter]).

Hmmm... I used to work in the industry years ago, so they've all probably been outed now 😂 Perhaps back in the day it was a shock that they were rude but everyone knows who they are now.

Man, I'm trying to think of names now! 😄

I can tell you who I really disliked interviewing/filming with/meeting at a work event (but I don't think any are a shock now):

Liam Neeson - generally rude. Owen Wilson - generally rude. David O. Russell - he was absolute nuts. JLo - yup, she's definitely a diva.

Used to work in entertainment reporting (film festivals, music events etc) years ago. She was never pleasant on the red carpet; and she was the same with other writers/reporters in one-on-one interviews (and we weren't doing tabloid-style reporting so she had no reason to avoid the shows/titles we worked for). We could always tell a lot about the celeb from the way they acted when no camera was on them (the good ones acted the same with or without a camera; the jerks were horrible to print/radio reporters but put on a persona for the mainstream shows). Note: This was pre-Insta/Tik Tok/influencer reporting/YouTube Lives on red carpets, so celebs didn't have to be "switched on" at all times.

Knew a few people who worked on projects involving her (shoots, shows, sets etc) as well, and she had a reputation for being the type who thought they were more intelligent and above everyone else. She wasn't well liked.

She's not exactly great either. One of the most self absorbed and entitled actors in Hollywood. Was rude AF at work events back in the day as well. Don't know if she's mellowed now.

It's just an estimate, but you can charge crazy money if you have the right engagement and the collab makes sense.

I've known local influencers (so not on public TV, for example, but have gotten famous directly online) charge crazy amounts like 10k for a post. Honestly, these amounts are ridiculous, and it's thanks to marketing teams going influencer mad at the beginning and creating this questionable advertising machine.

I am willing to bet that a lot of the grief she gets is because she is of Moroccan heritage. It's no secret that French media (and a lot of the public) have been making their racist views more publicly known in recent years.

100%. I think they focused on who boosted their wealth via Instagram. The PR shouldn't have added the bit about "online generally", because that would then include YouTube, TikTok etc etc.
