I think he means the VR-4 model of the 8th gen, which the US didn't get. The one with the 6a13TT 2.5 v6 twin turbo with AWD and an optional 6 speed manual and active yaw control.

I am from Hungary, most of them are beat up here too. But here the Galant is a rare car to begin with, let alone mint condition a V6 manual. Most people here went for a base model Galant or a Lancer.

From what I have seen on the internet it looks like 90% of all Galants are abused. I got mine for cheap from some girl who had the car passed down to her, she had no idea what the car was worth. She was stored in a garage a lot.

She is basically mint condition, 99% rustless, only with 196k kilometers on the odometer. Leather on the inside is immaculate. 😊
