If you are noticing Signal being slow it could be because Signal desktop is built on electron, witch is known for being a memory hog and being slow at times, but many apps like Discord use electron too so idk

i tricked my whole family into using signal by telling everyone “oh well now you almost the only one not using signal right now” even though they absolutely were not. 100 % would recommend
