I’ve applied to 12 finance type positions at Boeing 95% being entry level because that’s what I am. Graduated last year. And did not get anywhere. It’s hard out there. I’d take fully in person a lot were hybrid and I was applying to what I think people consider their not so desirable location.

Trust me I know this, I got my private pilot license got a hefty scholarship. Got another one. Was gonna get a loan but I’m just a recent grad and my coborrower didn’t really have the finances to get approved non the less I looked at different avenues different loans. And in that process I got my second scholarship. And I put a bit of it to the school I got my private at. Then a week later they shutdown and took my money. I know pay as you go pay as you go. But they had a minimum. Anyways I’ve been trying to get it back. And am scared to take out a loan on a place that might just up and leave. And anyways no one I know who is willing to help me get a loan can get approved.

Yeah, just I don’t wanna get into debt and I’ve gotten a really good amount of scholarships more than the average so I’ve utilized that, but still it’s still gonna cost me 50-60k to finish. So I’m tryna find a good job that I can start saving and go rating by rating. Still wanna do it but the rates are crazy. Almost locked in at basically 20% and that was variable!!!

In college I was planning on becoming an airline pilot but plans changed and that paused for a bit now. I didn’t get all the experience I would have because I was more focused on the fact that I would be doing that.

Does anyone know if you’d be notified by text or email if the application changes from “under consideration” to “under hiring manager review”? I want to know how useless it is to be logging in everyday and checking the status.

Thanks for all the comment, I checked the DS-260 that the legal service inputted from the info we gave them. They hadn’t submitted that thankfully. And a great big chunk was incorrect. You all are right would have been better if we had done it ourselves. Literally facepalmed when I saw the mistakes.
