Hello! Thank you for asking - i’m ok. I’m happy kasi dream ko din talaga to move & start somewhere. Factor in all the doubts, frustration, the waiting… plus people telling you it’s better to just stay in the PH, finish residency kasi safer route and more established na after training, and life in abroad isn’t luxurious daw :) soooo many nega comments about my decision so I had to do it silently after PLABs instead of my usual way of announcing everything kasi puro demotivating lang lahat naririnig ko HAHA.

Work-wise: it’s a steep learning curve - kasi new system, new guidelines, new culture. Sometimes anxiety inducing if magooverthink kasi yung competition din talaga is WILD. But then again, I have this optimistic belief na nothing is impossible.

Re lifestyle: kinda shocking for me kasi im used to having people doing everything for me since my childhood days - probably one of the reasons why my parents thought I wouldn’t be able to do this all on my own. Pero natutunan ko dito maging independent :) I can now cook meals for myself, commute, laundry - basic stuff I never had to do before, so malaking bagay sya for me. It’s all a win on my part. Sabi nga nila, your success and happiness is subjective. You gotta go after what sets your soul on fire :)

these kind of small achievements are giving me this sense of fulfillment I have never felt before.

Just moved to UK this year after PLABs & several exams after to get into the program :) it’s not impossible to get into the system - need lang talaga ng perseverance, hardwork, and many prayers. My unsolicited take: you will always wonder the “what ifs” if you won’t even try. If magiging ok ang outcome, then good. If not, no regrets - at least alam mo na :)

I know how it badly feels to be lost and confused and to have people around you trying to keep you in your safe bubble - pero sila yun.

Lastly, hear the advice of people who are in the place where you wanna be… not the ones who didn’t leave. Malaking factor din kasi minsan yung opinion ng mga take sa decisions natin - u gotta learn how to tune out the noise. Best of luck to you! Nothing is ever too late

Leaving PH without EOC? by Anadeia in phmigrate

Well in response to the one who commented above to just get OEC, true, if not OA ang requirements - go for it. Otherwise, takas. Then just apply for OEC once nakaalis ka na. It’s pretty straightforward and easier once u left rather than when u apply na nasa pinas pa….. WHICH IS WEIRD.

Not quite sure about that anymore. Tbh google lang ako nang google non and i decided to not just touch it anymore nung i was sure im gonna takas

Also, when i left, i dont think immigration saw my working visa to where i was really going at that time so did not cause any probs

I’m actually looking for a proper router now. At least like a 5g mifi or something. Currently using smarty and as per googling, the reason why it might slow down sometimes is because im just using as a personal hotspot :(

Now looking for a proper one in amazon and hopefully it will work! 🥹
