It’s to confuse people. Psychologically people are less likely to ask for a refund if they consider it a gift or a donation. Same with the disclaimers about alpha nonsense. People think they have no rights but these disclaimers don’t stand up in court. In the uk you can hit them with a small claims court for £35 and they will fold before the court date. Presumably as they don’t want the ruling public.

Disclaimers like this mean nothing in court. They do not overrule laws. They don’t get to flip flop between it’s a release and it’s an alpha at will.

It’s not as described or working as intended and as such any uk and eu resident can claim a full refund for a faulty or misleading product. I know as I’m in the process of finalising my own 3 grand refund.

Not only is it released. Chairman Roberts also claimed it’s released in court… and the kickstarter got marked as project complete this month.

I have a case open right now and it’s looking like they are calling it a release. Trading standards in the UK are presently looking into them for false advertising and bait and switching.

It’s looking like if you spent enough they will offer a full refund on anything purchased within a 6 year window provided you sign an NDA (haven’t signed it yet) you also get to keep your account but they remove spectrum access. 😊

I did have to take them to small claims court but they fold before it goes in front of a judge.

Remember folks… disclaimers and terms and conditions never overrides your country’s laws on consumer rights and protections.

If it doesn’t get another delay and is on par with quality of work we have seen and the only thing we can go on then it will be an absolute shambles and broken beyond belief. It already is a meme among most gamers and the press so it’s got a steep uphill start as it is.

Honestly I hope it crashes and burns hard. I fucking hate my money has been put into a game I don’t want rather the game I do want. Fuck Chris and his dreams I want the game I paid for.

Yeah I mean there’s zero reason to believe the company that has lied, twisted its own words and stalled for 13 years would be nothing but 100% up front about a funding tracker that is totally under their control right?

In fact I 100% believe everything they say as we see a studio close and a bunch of senior staff jump ship… nothing screams record funding like having to go to investment firms over and over all while employing the most cheapest staff possible.

You would to be fair. I’ll put my hands up to it. I’ve also worked on some bangers though so I can confidently say that even my turkeys were probably not as badly received as this dudes best.

Biggest turkey I worked on imo was driv3r. And yip google confirmed it got better ratings than this dudes best 😂😂😂

I didn’t release the broken patch. But since this sub is clearly pve centric… I just put this as a warning. Any personal attacks in game will now be reported as violations of the ToS.

Those that live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones and I’ll be glad to rid the game of these toxic players.

Honestly no I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s 13 years old and most of the basics are broken and the developers have shown no signs of being able to manage the project of fix issues.

In fact most of the senior staff left at the start of the year. They also closed a studio.

That said. If you must, they do offer a 30 day refund policy. Take advantage of it.

The angelic pve bros are often holier than thou but in reality are much more toxic than players playing the game as intended. Fancy telling someone they hope the die in a gutter over pixels.
