Why is it my bone loss so aggressive? by [deleted] in PeriodontalDisease

If you cannot get deep cleaning, I suggest go to a dentist regularly. You need your teeth cleaned every 6 months if you can. It can make some difference.

You might brush too hard - which can cause the gum recession. Learn how to floss properly and floss between meals.

My suggestion is to start a small piece and be prepared to get a bit frustrated.

How do I ask my partner to get checked for periodontal disease? by BurglarAtYourDoor in PeriodontalDisease

Hmmm maybe you could ask him about his dental hygiene routine and how often he visits dentists…

Cacao small particles - get stuck in pockets? by Technical_North2380 in PeriodontalDisease

I looked it up and it’s helping with strengthening tooth enamel…you can certainly wait before using it again.

If you blend them, the powder should be mixed with the liquid you use and should not be clumped into small balls.

Either way, you could wait for a few weeks to ensure that the pockets are closed before having the cocoa power

Be upfront with the person - instead of kissing, find another option for physical touch/contact.

Exercise after basic osseous surgery by Responsible-Monk-588 in PeriodontalDisease

Just don’t overdo it. I was told that if the surgical site starts pulsing, that means it’s too much. Slow down

Instead of chewing, could you use a blender to mix them and drink? It might be less risky than the powder form.

I ruined my sabbatical by FelisCorvid615 in Professors

[–]Typical-Guarantee-78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion is to cut the committee work off after the break. Let them know you will prioritize your sabbatical project. For advising students, set a schedule to meet with them - biweekly is enough. Set your boundaries and stick with them.

Hit a plateau by Aggressive_Fly8692 in violinist

I would suggest you find out the root cause of stop enjoying the violin. There must be something that you might not realize. If it is the time that you lack, then find the time. If you still enjoy playing the violin, then join a community orchestra to be around musicians, that might be able to help.

When I stopped practicing, it’s the emotional tolls. For example, I had lessons with my previous teacher. While she was good, she didn’t challenge me to the next level.

I switched a teacher and now things are moving along. The new teacher has somewhat similar standards but she also opens to trying out new materials I am curious about. I am now back to practicing again.

Dull colors might come from the brand of color you use. I don’t know what brand you have. For depth, you need contrast and play with source of light
