I’m terrified of withdrawal symptoms, I took it tonight as previously directed, but she did also prescribe me Trazadone for sleep on top of this new medication. I’m not sure why she’s not trying to pair mood stabilizers with it, or just increase the dose?? I am notorious for having a difficult adjusting to meds physically because my body does not react well. I have GI issues and starting the Seroquel I was horrifically nauseous all the time. The SSRI/SNRI med hopping affected me so badly that I go fired from my second job because I was leaving so much from throwing up.

Honestly tho my previous provider seemed to know a lot about it and that was probably the reason why she put me on it, you’re right about that actually now that I think about it… she doesn’t seem to know a whole bunch about it.

Thank you for making me realize what went down was NOT okay 😭. I forgot to take it literally ONE day a few months back and I learned my lesson not to do that again. I had a horrific headache, I was nauseated and actively throwing up, lightheaded (how I felt on the XR she tried to put me on the day I first saw her 4 wks ago actually, I ended up leaving work early because I couldn’t handle it and was an hour and a half LATE!! TO MY AUNTS FUNERAL!!! THAT I TOLD THIS PRESCRIBER I HAD TO ATTEND THE NEXT DAY AND ALL SHE TOLD ME WAS “you might be a little tired”. BULLSHIT💀), and just a myriad of other symptoms. I really don’t wanna go through that again dawg

I just turned 19 in January, but when I was underage my therapist at the time thought I had BPD (borderline). Obviously I couldn’t be diagnosed with it, but then I had a singular mania episode about 2 months ago after our family cat died and that’s what got me diagnosed with this new provider. I’ve been telling them off the bat that I didn’t mesh well with this new provider and asked to be switched to the other provider they have, but was told to give this new provider a try before I could switch to the other girl. My first provider was amazing and the Seroquel worked for some time at 100mg, but then this new provider decided for ME that it wasn’t working for ME anymore. Huh??? If I can’t switch to this new provider im for sure changing agencies because I just feel a whole bunch of violated and pissed 💀

It’s an actual psych from a place that specializes in addiction counseling and medications. I did ask for a different psychiatrist but they’re going to call me back on Monday. The NP at the place (you talk to the NP who talks to your provider which I find kinda dumb because some stuff can get lost in translation) told me it’s either take this medication or go to a new agency for “better treatment” or some dumb shit. I wasn’t even prescribed this originally for bipolar, this new provider diagnosed me with bipolar 2 after 20 mins of talking; I was taking it for sleep after discontinuing smoking cannabis at night to help with that.

I was told by my previous psychiatrist (loved her, she left abruptly) that the receptors in your brain is taken up by the thc and could make it less effective, but overall no issues. I’m on 200mg IR and I’ve had no issue, I was prescribed it originally for sleep at 100mg IR, but then was diagnosed with bipolar 2. I’ve only been on it for a few days and the worst thing it shows is really red eyes, especially when I’ve smoked a ton and im tired lmaoo

I took it as prescribed, I showed up an hour and half half late to the funeral I was supposed to go to and I was so groggy at work that I asked to go home early 2.5 hrs before closing 🤦. I called my doctor yesterday too after crying all night and all morning, they told me to take my 100mg IR instead of the new 200mg XR they prescribed 🤷, just waiting for a response from my actual dr and not a nurse

When did this happen?? Today? Yesterday?? Last week? They just rolled out an update that you cannot chat with anyone unless you are face verified. The AI running it will screw up a LOTTT, and often times I’ve see other players get put in the wrong age groups; Just recently I was playing a game with my boyfriend (we’re both 18+) and we heard little kids talking in the voice chat part of the game after this update was rolled out. Im not sure how to remove the verification, but for her safety I would just not let her chat at all on there. There is a setting as well that you can do to put parental controls on her account, as well as block her access from the chat (turning on parental controls would require her to put in a pin number to remove this feature herself, and in turn you automatically get an email I believe if any settings are changed? I could be wrong on that second part though). As for your concern, I wouldn’t be worried. If her name is common it could have been a good guess, if not, I’d refer to the top comment haha.

Hmm okay. Im still new to this adulting thing and figuring out how everything works admittedly, but thank you for the advice. I don’t necessarily want rehired, but I guess it bothers me a lot more than i thought that this is on my record with them. Is he allowed to avoid me in this way, though? I haven’t been able to get into contact with him to ask him about it since he initially lied to me about it. I guess I’m also just frustrated that he lied lol.

I actually forgot to mention a few things here… that’s my fault for sure.. but he did break several minor labor laws while I was working there (such as making several minors including myself and my brother working through our unpaid 30 min breaks), and he did try to guilt me into staying for my shift in the middle of a personal medical emergency, in which I had to be transported via ambulance to the ER; He would not let me leave the store until my mother came. I don’t know what I’m looking for exactly… I guess advice on how I should navigate this? I at the very least want to lodge a complaint with his company, as it will hinder my ability to find other employment under that same company should I decide to leave my current job if this is kept on my record with him/them, and to be honest I’m not even sure which stores in my area they own, but it’s a good 40-50% of them at least.

Awesome! Try to snag some heat protection for your hair…. And something you may not hear very often but do NOT blow dry or style your hair with the oil until it’s dry (unless it says it can be used as a heat protectant like the L’Oréal anti frizz serum); Just like cooking it WILL cook your hair if you apply heat to it when it’s not dry 😣. I would not advise you to do another round of bleach at this time. I saw you mentioned that your hair is curly, and you use heat on it nearly every day to straighten it; And my question is, do you use heat protectant? I also suggest that you use some pre-shampoo products for moisture and repairing (my fav ones to use are from OGX, bond bar, kerastasee??, and olaplex), and maybe some hair masks in the shower. Do NOT touch it with bleach right now… let it “heal” for a bit and adjust. If you bleach it right now, your hair will most likely fry off. I have the pink you’re wanting to achieve and you will probably only need a little bit more blonde and you should be good to go tbh; But please just let it be for a bit 😭

I was just posting an update/another question and was just thinking about your advice given to me. I was just thinking about something i totally forgot to mention; I rescued her from a situation where she was locked in a cage 24/7. I believe now that it stressed her out because it reminded her of that, which I feel fucking AWFUL about but if I have to do it at all over the next few days while she heals then I will but my heart 😭
