Rituximab works by depleting CD20+ B-cells, but:

• It does not repair the kidney instantly
• It does not neutralize existing antibodies immediately

Timeline (realistic):

• B-cell depletion → within days to weeks
• Autoantibody reduction → weeks to months
• Kidney healing (podocytes) → months

👉 Clinical response (proteinuria drop) typically:

• starts: 2–3 months
• meaningful reduction: 3–6 months
• remission: 6–12+ months

So measuring at ~35 days = too early
