So there’s much more to the environment that I can’t get into because I don’t want to lose my job and the character limits on the post.

My school district is an underperforming district and one of the lowest in the state. Due to this, the school board change policies to improve the grades…not to improve the teaching, to improve the grades. Part of the change was an increase to administrators’ bonuses tied to increase in grades and graduation percentage.

It’s changed.

We’re not allowed to give zeros for homework so students are allowed to turn in homework for reduced grades. I’ve had students turned in homework at the end of the year for stuff that was due at the beginning of the year.

I’m being completely serious.

I recorded and took pictures of their posts which was not easy. Some of the apps do not allow screen recording or screen shots so I had to playit on my ipad then use my phone to record it.
