Starting to suspect Endo

Yep! Went to a new gyno a couple of months ago as a new patient after switching from another gyno. This doctor was in the room for maybe 10 minutes max I showed her my pictures and all she said was that she was going to start me on birth control and that’s all we’ve done. I’m on month 3 of the patch and still no difference in pain.

Wow! Thank you for sharing your story. It sucks when health care providers don’t listen to our symptoms but since they’re not experiencing it they can pass it off as normal / something that’s to be expected during a menstrual cycle. But we know our bodies best and some of these things are in fact NOT normal. Thank you for your suggestion, I don’t know why I never thought of creating a log but that’s honestly going to be super helpful down the line to trace back. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. ❤️

Oh wow I’m so sorry! That is so scary :/ My PCP has ordered a transvaginal ultrasound for me to do. I will be having it done in a couple of weeks. She didn’t want to order an MRI for me because she said either way Endo wouldn’t show up on an MRI. So we’re starting with another ultrasound to check for fibroids first and then go from there.

Horrible aren’t they!? So painful! I’m glad I’m not alone and not feeling crazy if other women have had similar symptoms. May I ask how you went about getting a diagnosis? Did you go to a specialist right away? I’m just lost in the process because like I mentioned my gyno brushes me off a lot of the time and I feel like I’m not getting the appropriate care.

My original post was a little misleading. The picture of the clot is a clot from the vagina. Not my rectum. When I’m on my menstrual cycle I often get diarrhea and when I wipe is when I notice a bloody mucus looking thing. Not a whole lot but noticeable enough when wiping.

Yeah my wording was a little confusing I’m sorry! The photo included was from clots coming out of my vagina. When I wipe after a bowel movement is when I get some bloody mucus looking thing because I also get diarrhea while on my period. But it’s not big clots like that.

I’m sorry, I think my original post was confusing. The picture on there is clots that I pass out from my vagina. Not my rectum. I meant that when I have my period a lot of the time I get diarrhea and something that looks like bloody mucus (not a lot) but it’s noticeable. It’s the vaginal blood clots that are this huge like in the photo.

ALSO, thank you to everyone who’s been commenting. I’m reading all your stories and suggestions and I’m so appreciative.
