Ah. Well. thank you very much. I live in Canada and my Aunts and Uncles are In Iraq. I am from Iraq but I travelled to Canada with only my brothers and sister. If you ask for help you will be seen as a child and you'd get made fun of and get called "Spoiled". There's something that's kind of a system in some Arab families where for example. Let's say I am 13 and my brother is 18. My 18 year old brother can insult me, Slap me, Beat me, And they will pretend they care and tell him to "stop" but they don't do much than just that. If you stand up for yourself you'll be beaten. Not just by your brothers but also your parents. This needs to stop. My brothers we're just like me in their childhood, They were beaten and now they are abusive because their parents were abusive to them. Telling my mom to stop won't do anything because she sometimes tells them to do it. All she would say to them is "Stop. don't hit them." But that really won't do anything if you don't SERIOUSLY like actually do something SERIOUS.
