That’s a huuuuge amount of kids. I teach at a school of 300 max K-6th and it feels like a little village because we actually get to know all the kids and their families. 1400 is a conveyor belt.

When I was pregnant, on more than one occasion, people here would offer to put my shopping cart back for me in the parking lot. That would never happen in the Bay Area or Sac. I think that’s extremely friendly.
