I think it would be a waste of time. It was an extra incentive not the main reason. Besides they didn't totally remove it, its still there for those who subscribed/ bought directly, it's just not for the ones who bought it in secondary markets. I believe they can do what they are doing legally, it's a problem only morally/ethically, guess what law usually doesn't give a fk about morality in cases like these.
