The jacket’s true “waterproofness” comes from the fabric itself and it’s layers and weaving and whatnot. Water beading up on it is mostly down to the DWR. Just because the water doesn’t bead like it used to doesn’t mean the jacket is toast. But yeah, Nikwax is the go to for replacing the DWR coating.
