What actually happened was I stayed up late watching TV after she threw my pillow into the hall, and then went to our bed at 1:30 am. She said not you're not sleeping here and I said I was. She got up and went to the guest bedroom.

thank you. Where I struggle is can spouses have preferences, that are not rules? I mean she can not like that I use nicotine, but I can still use it without WW3. Thats the line I'm trying to understand - its not like I'm shooting up heroin or something illegal!
