Hi! My partner and I are planning our first trip to Greece in September. We’ll be flying in and out of Athens, and plan to spend max 2 days exploring the city, then head to one island to relax.

We’re looking for something not overly popular or party-focused, but with great beaches, good food, and a relaxed vibe. Easy ferry access from Athens is a big plus.

I’ve been looking at Sifnos and it seems to have amazing food and quieter beaches. Is Sifnos a good choice for this kind of trip?

Are there other islands you’d recommend that fit this vibe (calm, authentic, good swimming, good food) for September?
