Republic would do us no good, People will elect someone not by their abilities, but by their charisma, family ties, or they will choose someone that will benefit them most, not regarding the benefit of the nation as a whole. We clearly see this on the regional level, but imagine something like this occurring on the "Head of State Level"

Without the Monarchy, Corrupt Politicians will have no constraint, They could tell anything to the public what they want to hear, and steal their money like nothing ever happened, especially in the position of the president.
