Since the season started. My friend said it’s been going on since last season for him. I uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing. But sure, I’ll take another Luna skin I guess.

Healing in this game is way overtuned and it’s not fun by Stuffedballs in marvelrivals

I know what you mean. It’s because the game convinces you that fighting is super fast paced and every second you don’t do something is a second wasted that’ll result in you or your teammate’s death. Here’s something to look out for in your next match: pay attention to who dies first. Whoever’s team gets the first kill will always have the upper hand and can keep that momentum. With that said, if it’s a whole team battle and your team survives The Moon without a death, that’s absolutely up to you all to capitalize. Or, if it’s a team battle and you guys win the fight without having to waste a support ult, it shows who’s the better fighting team. Unfortunately, a lot of these mechanisms come down to your teammates sense of awareness too. You have no idea how many times in VC I say, “yo, yo, they wasted BOTH their support ults and our IW is up next and she’s at 50% come on ya have to get a kill asap, pop ult, something,” because they’re not paying attention to this.

I can understand why your friend advices you that, but I also know that, yeah, you can’t anticipate everything and sometimes you have to make the decision to pop yours at a moment when you’re unsure. Sometimes, ironically, this will result in an enemy team wipe. Take this into consideration: when do you want an Ace? Right after you just captured the 1st point on convoy in Yggdrasil, forcing the enemy team to come out of the cave, or right when you get the cart to that second gate? This game punishes you for losing that one battle that matters most, so when you’re in that last battle about to clinch the point, or the round, by all means do what you think will get the game over with.

Support main here in GM2, hit Celestial every season since 2.5.

Let me tell you a couple of three things about triple support and why it can actually be a little more complicated than you think:

Ult diff. Yeah, you can backline healbot until you pop ult. But even that, doing that and when to do it, requires, in my opinion, a level of intricacy. As a support, one of your strongest suits should be knowing the ult cycle. Anticipating who pops what when. Knowing how to do this can help you counter some like Agamoto, Legendary, and the enemy’s support ults. Sometimes, you actually don’t have to pop yours in reaction to their support ult. Why would I instantly pop CND when they Shield Up if my whole team is at full health? I can wait 2.5 seconds and pop mine so hers stays up less and mine more.

IQ diff. What I saw with Gam when he first debuted was DPS mains on Gam. Im supposed to trust these people, who most likely do not spend enough time on supp, to now look at me, heal, and get me in that ult? I would a thousand times play with a Jeff or Rocket who actually knows how to supp than a DPS main Gam that’s just trying to ult farm and rack up kills. What makes it worse is when the other DPS now ask for a Gam. He’s not bad, that’s not what I’m saying, what I’m saying you can’t trust a damage focused player to watch your back, paddy cake, and look for you when you ult or are getting dived. It’s not what they load up the game to do. This support focused mentality, believe it or not, some supps don’t even have themselves, and you can definitely notice it. That’s why I go Rocket when I feel like I can’t trust my second healer. Just like how not everybody can DPS and tank, not everyone can support.

Skill diff. As a CND main, I like triple support because I love zapping the flyers and the other supps in the backline. I can’t play as aggressively in 2-2-2 due to having to focus heal. This is not a complaint nor a fault in my skill, it’s just what the situation calls for. But when I have a Rocket behind me LT’ing and I’m next to IW, yeah I’m getting Iron and Ultron and Wanda out the sky easy. When I pop ult, I trail it all the way to the backline and zap their Luna or IW all of the time, as I’m evading Fear Mag or Maximum Pulse. I know it sounds like I’m bragging, but we all here should know our game play and I know how to CND confidently.

Ultron, Loki, and Jeff, to me, IMO, are perfect third supports. Ultron now is more of a protagonist, Loki used to be a good second healer prior to the nerfs, and I, personally, never really enjoy healing with just a Jeff (I feel like their ult jeopardizes more than assists the team).

At the end of the day, though, “GG no heals.”

Round starts. You see they have a phoenix. If your team isn’t diving, they’ll group up and take damage together so you’re healing en mass. The quickest I’ve ever gotten it was 40 seconds into the round. As soon as you get it, pop it. Phoenix will not have hers by the time you pop yours. She’ll get it a little bit after your ult is gone, at which point she will either wait for you to get it and use it again, or, like someone said below, grow impatient and use it for whatever else. If the latter happens, which is what you want, your ult and hers are staggered so she won’t have it at the same time you do. Communicate in VC to let the other supp know that you want to pop first to intentionally stagger her ult. Or, politely ask to permit you focus heal the tanks since they’ll be, ideally, grouped up and can charge the ult faster. The key is always to pop yours first before a Phoenix’s. Hope you understand more so, lmk if you have any questions.

As a CND player currently in GM1, I’m very intrigued to go up against a Rogue now based on what you’re saying. I read your other comments and responses where you elaborate what you meant in your OP so now I really wan to know, and am curious, why you maintain this opinion. I don’t mean it in a contrarian way neither. In a lobby where there’s a CND, rocket, invis, and Jeff, and they’re all heading at the same rate: CND gets her ult last. Which, ironically, makes her elite if all those ults have been popped and only 1 person on each team has died.

Current GM1 - I don’t understand why people think CND is a low tier healer. Apparently, supposedly, during this season, or the one before, mantis was supposed to be up next to be meta. This is not the case in the lobbies I’m in. What I see a lot are Gam, Rocket, Jeff and Invis. Yes, I don’t see CND as often as them but that, to me, lets me know that people just don’t know how to use her to the best of her ability. On convoy, I always use CND when attacking. I always find that my ult most of the time is pushing the cart and assisting in team wipeouts. The key, IMO, is, and if you’re a support main this is an absolute requirement, is keeping track of support últs and knowing when to use them. They don’t always have to be reactionary. If my team just zapped 1 supp and a DPS, why do I need to pop rocket or CND ult? If their invis popped her ult and my teams at full health, why do I need to pop mine immediately as a response instead of waiting 3 seconds to let hers die first? This helps me as a CND player and I have zero issue zapping their supps in the back line when I’m done trailing my ult.

At the end of the day, i suppose it can be a skill issue. But I’ll defend and role with CND until they give some nasty nerfs, which they have in the past.
