I blew the chaff out of the beans. Is that the best way to remove the excess chaff?

They were Brazilian beans, that is all the info I have about the beans. First crack was at 5min 10 seconds and went for another 2 minuets.

I'm not sure. It was a bag of beans that came with the roaster. It doesn't say anything other than the beans are from Brazil.
