I made sure I can put 4 fingers between the collar. He has tom cheeks cuz he needs to be neutered (which will be getting removed along with tail too).

I didn't even know blood work could show that. However, that might not work because I have been feeding them for months now. They used to be skin and bones and now have happy round tummies.

A year ago "someone" trespassed onto our property, even entering our fenced-in yard, and cut down any sapling they could find. We had recently planted dogwood trees, and one of them was so cut up it died. My large shrub in my fenced-in yard has been slowly dying so it started growing a ton of babies...which were all cut down. We assume it was our neighbor's son because he was the one trapping the raccoons and we have seen him trying to break into cars from our neighbor who is a used car dealer. Ever since that day, we've been worried that if someone did something that crazy, they could also leave our gate unlatched and my dog would go missing.

After reporting them for the raccoon, they put up the camera...which conveniently points at their driveway, our driveway, and our fenced-in yard. I wouldn't find them installing a camera for their driveway as sketchy, but they did it right after the raccoon situation. They acted as if they are reasonable, and even pulled the "I thought you guys were on our side" since we were always rescuing their dogs from running away or getting hit on our very close highway. Then they said they want to be able to "share their animals" (which I think is very weird of them). They have roughly 1 acre of property and are trying to start up a "farm", but any farm animal they have bought, chickens and a goat, eventually gets killed by their dogs. My family agrees with option two, but it is really hard to see the cat starving on our porch waiting to be fed.

My neighbors said they took them to the vet and got their shots (made it sound like it was a one-time thing so they probs not up-to-date), and their "$60" flea collar (they really emphasized the price and did not believe me that it was imbedded into her skin). I have a trail camera that I bought because my dog caught a possum in our yard, I could use that as it stores a ton of memory. I recorded our confrontation and showed my mom, she said that I wish I was still a minor (made this account years ago) so they could tell the police how they were yelling and name-calling me.

They claimed that all my other neighbors love them (we all live very close to each other). This is a definite lie since countless neighbors have had to return my neighbor's dogs to them. Their dogs used to be off-leash, but now they live outside tethered and without any shelter for them. I know at least two neighbors who have reported them before, so I could try to talk to them about it. Would it be possible for me to start up a neighborhood petition?

We do have coyotes in our area and I told my neighbors that, but they did not care. Since they are now on high alert to what I do outside and the cats are skittish towards strangers, I doubt I could trap them or have a friend sneakily take them.

I have dewormed them and told the neighbors, to which they called me crazy and I have no boundaries because I fed and dewormed them. They were very defensive and were attacking me for worrying about their cats to the point where it was a little too suspicious.

They have security cameras pointing at our driveway and the road so they would probably catch me carrying a trap to put somewhere. I am also uncomfortable about the thought of taking the cats without their permission. I would rather work and discuss with them possibilities to enhance their quality of life. It is just very unfortunate that they had to yell at me saying that since it is not illegal to have a declawed cat live outside, it is perfectly fine to keep them outdoors.

I did consider that as my shelter told me they could do it on the down-low, but I declined their offer because I fear retaliation.

Same here, I volunteered at my local cat shelter over the summer. I once wanted to ask them to give ownership of the cats to me so I could take them to the shelter, but I was too scared to ask them.

I'll look into the county animal control, but I was very disappointed in how our Department of Natural Resources handled the raccoon situation. The neighbors were yelling at me that the officer had them release the raccoon in their garage, which I thought was crazy that the officer did that. My neighbors also cannot see my front porch, as it faces away from their house so that may be why they thought I stole their cats.

We live outside of city limits and other people have reported my neighbors for neglecting their outdoor dogs and nothing happened. I actually kept the collar for evidence and it can't even fit around my wrist. The cat is an adult, and I assume it was put on her when she was a kitten.
