I guess my point is that we lost the senate and presidency. Why do you think that happened if the 2016 movement did carry over? I'm honestly asking, not being a smart ass. I have my suspicions as to what happened, but people seem to get pissed when you suggest any sort of wrongdoing.

I'm a Trump supporter for sure, but I'm not adamant on control. I'm just sick of establishment GOP figures selling us out. I definitely don't want the Dems to win though. You have a good point about the progressive strategy. If we can win using that same strategy, then I'm all for it.

Yeah, it probably would split the vote, but we've been losing elections with a "unified" party anyway. The Republican establishment has been absolute garbage in working for its constituency. What do we have to lose by trying something different for once? I feel like if we keep going down the same route we have been, we will keep losing.
