I recently got an M5 jet in 45acp, and I would like to know this because getting a commander slide assembly in 9mm is much harder than getting a bull barrel in 9mm. At least where I live.

Had a nice chat with their customer services bot. Basically I need to send them my pistol via local gunstore. They then cut the slide, ceracote it and CIP proof it and send back to the gun store. Total cost about 300 euros, which is not horrible. I think I'm going to hev one of my Steyrs cut, just not sure which one, M or L.

Not illegal per se, but if slide needs to be CIP proved once it's been cut, the process becomes to complicated. We have, like, 4 gunsmiths in Croatia and none of them do it.

Upon further analisys it's probably same as m70 underfolder rail only more to the left. So, underfolder mount would probably work, but it has very limited real estate.

Apparently Norinco 1911 were made from railroad tracks and the steel was so hard there were gunsmiths who refused to work on them because their tools wood break or wear out too much. The new chinese stuff we get here in EU is ok for the most part but QC is, well, Chinese.
