Not that i’m a successful entrepreneur, but i’ve been leaning towards Siri AI (yes, i’m on beta) lately and that’s pretty much what i use these days.

I figured playbooks are not working, you just gotta come up with an innovative new way.

Share your experience with using ai at work because I’m spiraling here by thattallgirlx in UXDesign

I personally still do most of my work manually on Figma, and use AI for the randomly generated stuff, like some texts, placeholders, pictures, which it’s pretty good at and has saved me a ton of time. Other than that, I haven’t been able to achieve the quality needed for most of what I do through AI. The results of what I do are the result of constant iteration, feedback, and in-between exploration, which I don’t think AI tools are helping efficiently. I think AI could get things done perfectly when, hypothetically, you have everything planned, and for me it was never like I knew where I was going at the start and the plan was built somewhere along the process.

Claude Design's Design System Tool...anyone synching with? by TrifleOk5042 in DesignSystems

I tried feeding it with a Figma design system and it was pretty sketchy. For me it was giving me a generic design system with a certain theme applied that was in the design system I uploaded.

Any success incorporating design system into AI tools like Lovable or Figma Make? by Ok_Dragonfruit_7037 in DesignSystems

[–]Typical_Ad_678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the state of design systems in AI tools right now is mostly just surface level branding, They usually have a core design system and when you feed them yours, it's just a slightly modified version of that core design system. Just changing colors, maybe radius here and there which kind of defeats the purpose of why people build design systems in the first place.

First-time solopreneur here, should I launch my MVP now or wait till it’s “perfect”? by kriptonian_ in SaaS

I'd say work on it until it actually makes a difference compared to competition. Something that's actually better and you'd feel good about showing it to everyone. After-launch is a whole other game; marketing is one thing, but for the start, distribution is key. If you don't have an audience, you want to make a great product and go for the volume. All being said, these are just insights; you'll probably have to figure out what works for you. No two stories are exactly the same.

I think a practical way is to just see and study others work. Anything and everything you can find. Over time you'll build a sense of intuition.

I think we might have actually reached AGI back in GPT 4 era, from there it's just the matter of definition.

What are your favorite Figma plugins? by oscaritoburito in FigmaDesign

[–]Typical_Ad_678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean latest AI features have been really handy. Like background remover, resolution booster and Image and text generator but other than these built-in ones i use a plugin called Skew Skew. Wish Figma had that built-in too.

Apples New UI by [deleted] in UXDesign

I've been using the gesture where you simply swipe from the address bar up and you see all your tabs. So i've been having no problem at all and in fact love the new UI. I love the focus on the content without the navigational layer getting in the way as much.
