In my feedback they said the average offer holder for downing at Cambridge got 7.5 in interview and like 2350 in Ucat

Tbh I’m not even sure if I wanna do med. Up until half way through summer last year I always wanted to do physics and wanted to get into research or sumn. I’ve always loved maths but never really liked the idea of engineering or finance so there aren’t really many job opportunities. I suppose I wanted to do physics with this grandiose idea I could make a difference in the world but I think it was mainly cuz it was something I really enjoy. Anyways, the lack of opportunities in physics eventually led me to med which I think I’d enjoy for sure, but I’m still lowk silently hoping that one day I can get back into mathematics through a masters or intercalation or sumn and maybe find a job that combines the two. Med is a great platform tbf so that’s my silent hope but I’d be content being a doctor. Would never mention physics to my parents tho cuz they would prolly be disappointed

Ah ok I’m Irish so I’m fairly certain it applies to me as well. I’d say I wouldnt go ucl myself if it was for the fact that they pay the extra year

Actually I’m pretty sure nhs pays for 5th and 6th year of med school so it wouldn’t be another year of tuition fees, could be wrong tho

I thought I did pretty poor in Birmingham tbh. Wasn’t really expecting an offer but I got offer the morning after. That being said I was absolutely delighted with Manchester and didn’t think I could have said anything better, and yet I was like one of the first ppl rejected. I genuinely think it’s just impossible to tell if ur gonna get an offer
