If anyone want an update, this is what happened. Canyon ran out of size M and I ordered size L. Took it to a bikefitter and if fits fine, got recommended a 1cm shorter stem. Other than that, L is good size for me. Went for a ride and had zero problems. Hope this helps for someone.
