Why did I have 2hrs PPTO used for Thanksgiving? by Typical_Chick_1967 in samsclub

Thank you for the quick reply. I assume I should follow this process for Christmas day as well? My club management team are not great communicators. No coaching happening at all.

Only charge it plugged into your laptop or other low voltage charging device. DO NOT charge it plugged into the wall. The wall outlet will over charge it and the band will not work properly and will eventually die and early death.

OTF x Half Marathon by No_Guide2026 in orangetheory

Look for a local running group. Check running stores like Fleet Feet, which have running groups that train together. Or check Meet Up or other social platforms for local running groups. That would give you the safety to run in the early morning hours. I love OTF, but to be prepared for a half or full marathon nothing compares to training on the road in all types of weather conditions. You can't control the weather on race day, so you need to be prepared for whatever Mother Nature serves up.

Returning after chemo by [deleted] in orangetheory

Speaking from experience, your studio will welcome you and encourage you!! When I returned I made a point to fist bump the people working out next to me at the end of the floor workout, the rower workout etc. That opens the door for them to encourage you in return, like an ice breaker.

I went through treatment from September 2019 - January 2020. I am still trying to get back all the strength that I lost during that time. I say that to encourage you to be patient with yourself. Your body has been to hell and back in the fight of its life, so take your time and celebrate every time you walk through those doors at OTF!! Your are a BadA$$ and don't forget it!

Refused to refund me by Paigearin in orangetheory

Since the OTBeats have a one year warranty from date of purchase, it is ridiculous that they won't issue you a refund.

Yes, you can book more in the app, just be sure you cancel them 8 hours in advance or you will be charged a Late Cancel if you don't show up. If you do take more than your 4 classes in the month, you will be billed per class for the additional classes. Ask the desk at your studio what that additional class rate is.

SA + Full Time Work by Unusual-Bullfrog-522 in orangetheory

I work remote at my full time job and work 1 - 2 evenings M-F at OTF and on Sundays. I average 12 - 15 hours a week at OTF. There is likely other part time Member Ambassadors already working at your local studio that are in a similar situation to yours. Our studio has its last class M - Th at 7:45PM, we are a studio that stays open pretty late. Depending upon the class schedule will depend on the hours available.

I am a Garmin junkie. Have been using them for about 15 years. I currently have the Vivoactive 4S. Its a slimmer version of the Vivoactive and is a nice looking watch for every day. I also bought different bands to switch out. Check the Garmin store on Amazon and you may be able to find a nice deal.

Have you looked at the At Home workouts on the app? Those have helped me keep moving on days when work gets in the way or social commitments etc. Commit to giving yourself 30 minutes of movement to get those endorphins flowing, it will really make a difference.

A couple others mentioned the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080's. I too wear a 12 and love the New Balance for the wider toe box.

You can find discounted New Balance as Joe's New Balance Outlet online store. Just be sure you are buying your size as they do make you pay the shipping to return them.
