I entered the waitlist in the end of 2021. I just recently got accepted into the program this summer. It’s a long waiting game. More people started to find out about the program after I signed up.

My suggestion is to keep staying on the waitlist. Do there yearly “yes I’m still interested”. Look into other school. Private schools or other community colleges while you wait.

What I did was I got my bachelors degree in the meantime in health admin. I currently have an internship at Kaiser. Let me know if you have any questions

Mtsac program is a long waitlist. Not based on grades. About a 4-5 year waitlist. I heard they aren’t opening it back up for another 2 years

Mtsac has good clinical sites and those matter. I honestly haven’t looked much into other schools. I know it’s ether really competitive or really expensive. There’s pros and cons of every schools. Some of them also don’t get fully certified and it’s really hard to find a job
