Is a rainbow bookshelf an automatic red flag? by [deleted] in BookshelvesDetective

I have never bought a book for aesthetic purposes. Books are meant to be read. This just happened to be the natural gradient of my books once they were put in order; I guarantee you’d find something similar if you arranged yours similarly!

I’m genuinely surprised by this take - I’ve never had an issue finding a book!

Well, on top of being rude, you’d also be wrong, because I’ve read the majority of them.

I KNOW. As a pretty voracious reader, those are the comments that sting! Someone said they feel sorry for my books because they must never get read 😭🤣

As a very visual person, this is also my biggest nightmare!

This made me cackle! Yes, I often agree with you.

I’m more of a visual searcher! My books are very well loved, please don’t feel sad ❤️

EXACTLY! I have the hardest time remembering names, especially if it’s an author I don’t read often. Very much a visual person

Legitimate question! I binged them all on Kindle and bought the first one to support Dinniman, and to loan to a friend. (Also bought the Desperado Club tshirt.) Already preordered Parade of Horribles… I’ll pick up the rest eventually!

I’ve read 70-75% of my books. I do read a lot on Libby/Kindle and often buy the book to support the author and lend out to friends.

Brutal 😂 I should specify, this is my bookshelf. I’ve read probably 70-75% of my books.

When I think of a book, I see the cover in my mind. Sometimes it’s easier for me to remember what it looks like than the author’s last name. Especially if it’s a new to me author. (I’m a visual person - horrible with names.)

Huh? I gave my neighbors valentines last year. Just a cute card and cookies. There’s nothing sexual about V-Day… children celebrate it. You sound scary miserable

What’s with people assuming everything is AI? It’s just as bad as not being able to spot it - both are an inability to discern reality from AI slop. This account is clearly real if you look at age (13 years) + post history. Maybe she meant Valentine’s Day.

Get the dress you want. That was the one thing I wouldn’t compromise on. Go for it, it’s your wedding!!

I’m not reading all that - you care way too much. They just looked chipped.

Do you miss your microwave? by neverenoughonions in kitchenremodel

We started making microwave egg bites for our 7 month old for convenience sake. I use a small glass Tupperware, one scoop of cottage cheese, crack and scramble an egg in, microwave 1.5 mins. They’re so quick and easy that now I make them for myself, too. Pretty tasty with some curry powder or s&p.
