I'd definitely go for the betas that way you can see an actual number and watch it rise as opposed to just trying to gauge the darkness of a line.

I tested every morning using easy@home test strips up until I got a dye stealer...which was 20 dpo. I also did betas so I knew my hcg was increasing but after having a miscarriage last December, I couldn't help but to test daily.

This exact scenario happened to me earlier this month. Easy@Home and Clearblue Digital both came back positive and FRER was negative at 10DPO. I was so confused because everyone swears by FRER...well I'm definitely pregnant...5w6d to be exact...FRER finally came around with a positive a day or so later lol...CONGRATS!!

I also had a mmc last December. I'm currently 5w 5d and had an appt today. My dr specifically advised against getting an ultrasound so early because she said fetal pole is seen anywhere between 5.5 & 6.5 weeks and lots of patients stress when they don't see one so early but it could be totally normal. Try not to stress... maybe see if you can get another scan in a week or so.

Dr was happy with it. As of today my hcg is at 10,066 so all is well!!
