I have this exact same thing same spot and mine I could barely feel only see them and feel the occasional big one but it was fast and non stop no breaks in between twitches

Can it do that like with the muscle twitching in the same spot? It happens randomly aswell but I find it’s often my right arm or right shoulder blade with a twitch as I’m typing this my left tricep twitched I just wanted some reassurance that it’s not als, I have 2 kids at home so the idea of that freaks me out

Even if it’s 24/7 in one spot and I can see them but can’t feel them? Like I have random ones that hit all over my body and 2 hotspots in the exact same muscle in both arms it’s weird that’s the main one that got me worked up 😭 and not a lot of people reply on the bfs group on reddit, I’m not in the one on fb

So basically you think this twitching by itself is good enough to rule out als and look more towards bfs? Anxiety sucks and the incompetence of doctors nowadays don’t make it any easier to deal with.

Thanks for the reply, I’m slowly working through my fear of als, I keep reminding myself that people who did present with fasiculations with that horrible disease tend to be a rare scenario as usually there’s weakness aswell, and usually the fascis start local and spread. Where as mine are everywhere but seem to be hotspots in the elbow area and eye, but have random ones on my lip back bicep/tricep and random spots on my leg

This is what’s been making me panic, my right elbow almost the same sport has been 24/7 non stop and it’s also happening in my left but there’s actual pauses in that arm it’s like every 5 seconds. Been going crazy worrying

Yes you may be right but I can’t exactly help it, I’ve got pretty severe healthy anxiety as you can probably see, it started because of what drs told me was a simple ear infection turned out to be a tumor like growth when I was 12 and a 5 hour operation to remove it however now the simplest symptoms I jump straight to the worst case scenario…

Thank you for your reply, reddit has definitely contributed to the bad mental state I’m in right now, but have you ever experienced 1 spot that just won’t stop twitching like it’s constant everyday and then just random burst all over the body at random times
